Mark Edward Powers, A California criminal defense attorney, has over 32 years of experience. Mark Powers has spent most of those years in private practice, and several years working in government practice as a Public Defender. Mark Powers holds membership in professional organizations including the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, California Public Defenders Association, and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Mark Edward Powers attended the McGeorge School of Law in the 1980’s. Mark Powers had the opportunity to study constitutional law under Associate Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, who was appointed to the United States Supreme Court in 1988. An accomplished student, Mark Powers graduated ” With Distinction” and was a member of the Roger Traynor Honor Society in law school.
